First things first, you have to visualized whatever it is you want, If you can't see it then how can you possibly want to have it.

Second you have to make a plan as to how you are going to get what you want. 

Third and none the least you need to GO FOR IT and WORK HARD. Dreams don't come alive just dreaming them up, anything worth having requires determination and hard work!!!

One more piece of advice, you may have to set a prize at the end of the line, something other then MONEY! Perhaps something that you really desire with passion, to keep you moving forward, so you can have the same energy as you did in the beginning and your motivation can stay strong by simply thinking and craving that  one desire.

Al tener la oportunidad de ver el video de Sears #MasdeLoTuyo A Daughters Surprise, fue mucha la emoción que sentí ya que es el mismo sentimiento que yo tengo hacía mis padres.

Tenia tan solo 9 años cuando mis padres tomaron la decisión de mudarnos a los Estado Unidos. Teníamos una vida muy cómoda con muchas oportunidades de progreso, en esos tiempos vivíamos en la bella ciudad de Lima, Perú. Mis Padres habían abierto una academia de Artes y les iba muy bien. Hasta que empezaron los problemas de terrorismo. Nuestra tranquilidad, era constantemente interrumpida por causa de explosiones en la distancia.

Me recuerdo muy claramente que en una ocasión estábamos en casa con nuestra Nana, era la hora en la cual mis padres estaban por llegar, de un momento a otro una explosión a pocas cuadras de nuestra casa, sacudió nuestra casa rompió los vidrios de la sala y las luces se fueron. El temor que sentí mientras abrazaba a mi hermana pequeña debajo de una meza, el pensar que mis padres quizás no llegarían a casa fue algo que nunca lo podre olvidar.

A causa de este evento y muchos otros los cuales estaban tomando lugar en Lima, mis padres tomaron la decisión de mudar a nuestra familia a Los Estados Unidos, para ellos era la gran necesidad de proveernos un mejor futuro, lleno de oportunidades y tranquilidad. Aunque a mi corta edad no entendía en su totalidad el por que ellos me alejarían de mis amiguitos y familiares, de algo si estaba segura y era que ellos solo querían lo mejor para nosotras.

Recuerdo lo difícil que fue para mi adaptarme, aunque había tomado clases de ingles, por muchos años no entendía casi nada de el Ingles que me hablaban los niños de mis clase, mucho menos entendía sus chistes o por que la única niña que hablaba español en mi clase tenia vergüenza al hablarlo. Mucho tiempo ya ha pasado desde esto, con exactitud 22 años y con pasar tiempo entendí el gran sacrificio que habían tomado mis padres al mudar a nuestra familia a los Estado Unidos, entendí su amor tan grande hacia nosotras y pude tomar ventaja de muchas oportunidades, que es para mi lo mínimo que yo puedo hacer para mostrar el agradecimiento que yo tengo hacia ellos.

Gracias ellos siempre tuve una vida llena de progreso personal, que "no simplemente bastaba el soñar sino que era mucho mas importante tomar acción".Gracias a ellos aprendí a cultivar el amor a mi cultura y tradiciones.
