Wee Witches Playground for the whole family: Red rover, red rover, you'd better head over. Gardner Village has something new this October. Let your little ghouls jump on a giant pillow, climb enchanting spider webs, crawl through the Maze of Mayhem, dance in the witches disco or take a dip in the Candy Corn Pool. Find more toil and trouble as our real-life witches roam about Cricket Hollow Swamp and give your wee ones handy hints about being a witch. $6 per person 1 year old and above. Includes all activities and 1 pillow jump. Additional pillow jumps $2. Visit the playground Monday-Thursday, 10am to 6pm and Friday-Saturday, 10am to 8pm, September 19-October 30.

Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family. And if that weren’t upsetting enough, she confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before — keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents and everyone finds out that WEIRD IS RELATIVE! Salt Lake Comic Con 2014

Salt Lake Comic Con is an epic pop culture convention event that brings comics, fan art, sci-fi, anime, fantasy, film and TV and their associated comic creators, artists, actors, performers, authors, celebrities and professionals to meet and interact with their fans. Celebrities from Big Bang Theory, Arrow, Evil Dead, Doctor Who, Ghostbusters and The Princess Bride will be attending, with more to be announced.

The Utah State Fair is held at the Utah State Fairpark in Salt Lake City. The fairgrounds are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The fair takes place each year starting on the first Thursday after Labor Day and lasts for 11 days.
