Piano and Bench Makeover

Hello and a great big welcome! I am super honored and excited to share my projects with you on utahmamalatina.com

I have been wanting to paint our piano ever since I saw this post on one of my favorite blogs, Centsational Girl.

This is what the piano used to look like:

As you can see, it was an off-white something or other. We bought this from a neighbor, I want to say, 12 years ago? It needs to be royally tuned but is in great shape otherwise.

Now for the after:

I know! Isn’t she a beauty! I painted it with Pure White from Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. I used chalk paint because I didn’t have to sand and I didn’t want to struggle to move it out of the room to do so. I’m in love!

I also added a foam cushion to the bench since it has never had one. I simply removed the seat from the rest of the bench, covered, stapled, and done.
